Toro 928 OHXE

Photos are of your Armorskids skids (ASE0310-B) on my new Toro 928 OHXE. Comparing them with original. The mounting bolts are 5/16″ so there was no issue with slot clearance. I installed three (3) flat washers on each bolt to space the shoes out to clear the bend at the front of the machine. I believe that the new shoes will work much better than the originals as I have a gravel drive that is 600′ long. Although the original shoes are very robust, I believe that yours will prevent the snow blower digging in and picking up gravel.

Bob,

I installed a set of your ASE0310-D skids on my Toro Powermax HD 928 OAE (38840).  I used 2 of your spacers and 2 fender washers on each side to space it out past the flare on the front of the auger housing.  I also used 1″ x 5/16″ carriage bolts.  I mounted the skids in the forward position (using the back slot) to allow the skid to run out in front of the auger housing.  I’ve attached photos of the completed install for your reference.  I’m looking forward to using these new skids!

Thanks,

Erik
