John Deere Tractor/Snowblower

Bob,

We are having a series of lake effect storms off the east end of Lake Ontario right now so there is plenty of snow to move almost on a daily basis. First thing tomorrow morning I have another half foot to more in the drifted areas of the driveway to move again. Still we are fortunate here ( we have had around a foot of snow this week ) whileesome areas near here got more than five feet of snow. I am not exaggerating either it has been one snowy week with lots of wind. Redfield NY on the Tug HIll is now up to over 268 inches of snow so far this winter, not a record yet but maybe if it keeps up.

I will use these a few more times before I am sure but I think they are making a big difference.

Hi Bob!

I received my new skids yesterday and installed them in about 20 minutes this morning. They appear well made and very heavy duty.  The recommendation on the website to get the PRO-XTs was spot on and I really like the extra adjustment space it provides. I have the skids set about an inch high for now to prevent scalping the gravel and will likely set them lower when the ground freezes solid. I’m really looking forward to throwing snow without throwing the gravel!  Now we just have to wait for the snow to come back.  Thanks and Happy Holidays.
